ColorInsight: Race & Racism

Rhonda is the leading voice for bringing mindfulness and compassion to bear to address racism and other forms of social identity-based bias in our cultures and communities. By practicing mindfulness, we remind ourselves to consider the contexts of the people we interact with, giving our open and accepting attention to their intersectional factors, including race, allowing us to be more circumspect in our choices when interacting with them. Rhonda invites you to explore the many ways your practice can help you understand the operation of race, racism, and other forms of bigotry and bias in our lives and institutions more effectively, and to move from color blindness to what she calls ColorInsight.
